At the Toronto Garlic Festival, Axcadmy is selling blacksmith-related tools including hammers, grinders, wood stumps, steel billets (these are what are shaped into the axe head), axe handles, and more. They also have cutting boards decorated with garlic cloves for display.
Axcadmy is the first custom axe making workshop in Toronto. With a passion for working with their hands, they hope to teach the art of Blacksmithing and shape raw materials into unique and functional axes. Their tools are mostly sourced locally/within Canada, all steel is sourced locally, and axe handles are native to Tennessee, USA, where they grow sustainable hickory.
