Serving at Toronto Garlic Festival: Napa cabbage kimchi, drinkable kimchi (spicy and mild), kimchi pancakes (hot – ready to eat).
We sell vegan and gluten-free kimchi made fresh from scratch using a homemade shiitake and kelp based broth in place of fish sauce/shrimp paste. The recipe is based on my grandma’s – hence the brand name Sonyo, which means ‘granddaughter’ in Korean. Our goal is to pay respect to tradition through a new generation with products that have been reimagined for today’s customers.
