Tartar Sauce with Homemade Dill Pickle
Serve with Fish Cakes The secret to a stellar tartar sauce is to use homemade dill pickles. The pickles, and the brine, made with mulled seasonings, is remarkably better tasting than a store-bought pickle.
Ingredients
- 250 ml Mayonnaise
- 80 ml Dill Pickle finely chopped
- 1-2 cloves Ontario garlic minced
- 15 ml Capers chopped
- 10 ml Lemon juice
- 5 ml Paprika
Instructions
- Combine ingredients in a bowl
- Add sea salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste
- Refrigerate, covered until use
